Snowiest Cities

For all of you who are busy shoveling snow, I'm curious is you live in the snowiest cities or not. This list just came out. Syracuse, NY was #1. The full list is here. Isn't it intriguing that Alaska didn't even make the top 5?

Wow, who'd have thought? I'd have put Anchorage right up there but it only came eighth! Is this a list just for the Winter we've just been through or what?

I went to college in Rochester, but I wouldn't have thought it was the second snowiest city. I kind of liked it actually, because it was all so well handled, and pretty beautiful if I'm honest.

No, we didn't make the list but that was really interesting and there were some really pretty pics in the bunch. I would really hate to have to shovel some of that snow.

I'm surprised Syracuse ranked higher than Buffalo or Oswego. Both of those get hammered with lake effect snow. Guess you just can't tell by looking at a map!
