Afternoon, Not sure if someone can help out, if not, maybe point me in the right direction. I have a Craftsman 9HP, 28" two-stage snow thrower, 31AE5HTG799 / Model 247.88790. This past season the shoot would not stay in the lower position, the left and right directions works, but the up and down wouldn't work. I can put it in the down position, but after starting a few feet it would start to shift to the top position (the position to throw the snow farther). Almost like it was from either the vibration and the up/down control wasn't tight enough to hold it in position. Any thoughts on how to adjust this???

Check to see if the chute deflector cable is tight. This cable guide by the shut, loose cable and the universal control on the handle are where I would start my search.
