I have a Prestige 2691130 with the single stage 46" snowblower 1694296 with electric lift. I hit a rock that was in my neighbor's driveway and now I have a vibration in the snowblower When I hit it the mower quit. Unit runs fine, but I have a vibration now from the snowblower. I hope it's not the rotor assembly? What do you think?

Snow blowers don't do well with rocks; it likely bent the auger/rotor. You need a visual inspection to see what is going on. Stay away from any moving parts. Machines don't feel pain, humans do.

I slipped the belt off so that I could spin the rotor by hand. It is making noise and I can see it moving in and out as it rotates on the right front. I have been in South Texas since 1988, but I worked on a lot of snow blowers when I lived in central Va. previously. Usually, the damage would be to the bearing on the drive end if the rotor itself is not also bent.

Also check the gear and shaft key for shear damage. It took a pretty sudden stop to stall the engine. Outer bearing casings tend to crack more easily in extreme cold

Having worked on hundreds of blowers here in Wisconsin, I recommend you remove the chain cover first and check to see if parts are turning smoothly. If everything under the cover looks then good, I’m sorry to say you will have to disassemble the rotor assembly to find the problem.
