I checked pulleys By by disconnecting the belt all turn freely, using a Ohm meter checked all wiring, found no breaks or shorts and according to diagram I downloaded wires in PTO plug appear to be in proper place, checked neutral switches there working properly, seat switch gave me a funky reading so I by passed it w/Jumper same thing clutch would drop to engage blades but motor died, this while belt disconnected. one thing I remember that I had forgotten earlier is that prior to that, when I bought the mower the blades would engage and the motor stayed running but the mower would not drive, I took it to a mechanic when he sent it back I have this issue now, he has since gone out of business, and wont return calls. don't know how the two problems could be related since belts are separate. In my looking at the mower I did notice the park brake does not work as in no pads to go against the pulley and as part of the mechanism on the transmission drives there are two buttons that do depress as the break handle is moved, I am wondering about these, although I cant seem to see any wires there. Thanks for your help thus far, appreciate all I can get.

I want to thank you for your help, yesterday as I was messing with it I put all wires and plugs back as they were and tried it once more, every thing worked as should. must have just been bad connections. once again thanks.
