Everywhere i look I find that this takes a 122" V-Belt.
Yet putting this thing on is almost impossible.
The belt is routed per the owners manual.
There is zero play in the idler pully.
I had to use a 3' cheater bar to get it on.
IS this normal?

Did you use an OEM belt or after market? Should be part # 7042776YP

Thank you Rivets,
Yes, this is the exact belt I am using.

I just bought this from the original owner.
He had replaced 2 of the spindle bearing sets and I replaced the last one.
When I took the belt off the deck it was working but the deck was vibrating pretty bad , so that's why I replaced the last set of bearings.
I tried putting the old belt back on but it is the same way.

Update: I noticed that the drive shaft pully was lower than the idler pully, if you look at the picture the belt will rub on the idler pully bracket.
Im not sure what is going on here.
I took the driver pully apart and everything looks the way it should per the parts catalog and the same with the idler, I even tried putting the bracket on upside down and that even looked wrong, so I put it all back together.
What do you all think?
I sure would love to have the design engineer chime in on this.
Maybe everything will work its self out once i get it back under the frame.

OK, I finally got her back together.
The deck worked like new so as far as I know, no issues there.
But now when I find the engine under load it wants to die.
If I am mowing 5-5 inch gress its fine but when im mowing tall grass or even when I back up the engine bogs down.
Any ideas?

Get a tractor? Cut more often? Hire a lawn service? Sharpen your blades? Slow down when mowing? Side sling the clippings? Don't try to mulch tall grass? Make sure the grass is dry?

It is a tractor, I am a lawn service, blades are new, slow down instead of fix the problem? It already does the side sling, Its a commercial zero turn it should be able to handle it. Grass is dry.
Please be a little more helpful next time.
Update: I cleaned the carb and put a new filter on it. Runs like new....Hope this helps someone sometime.
