I have a Snapper 3011523BV 7084941 with a B&S 217802 with a pull start. I've been told that they, Snapper, didn't make that model with a pull start and that it's modified. I can't confirm this as I bought it used about 4 years ago.
Regardless, I'm trying to find a starter assembly as I have broken mine beyond repair. Yes, I broke it. I'm brain damaged. First cut of the year and I forgot a few things an...never mind, it's done. Anyway, does anyone know the part number for the starter assembly? I've found 695058 and 591606. I'd prefer not to pay almost $200 for an OEM, but my concern with 3rd party is I keep reading "it didn't fit my snapper".
Any help or direction pointing would be greatly appreciated.
