Snapper re210 steering

Steering the re210 is heavy and difficult. The steering wheel is 13 inches in diameter.
I’m considering trying to put a bow tie type steering wheel on it. It’s 19 inches in diameter.
Anyone know if it will fit or work ?
Does anyone have any input on how to remedy the difficult steering

Buy a spray can of White lithium grease. Find every moving part and spray it really well. It will start turning much better.
