Snapper Ninja Pull String Squeal with no resistance. Slipping?

I have a snapper ninja recycling mulcher r21400. Now I am unable to crank the engine. If I pull with too much force then there is a loud squeal from where this mesh screen is turning on top of the flywheel. (hope that makes sense). I've taken off the top and the pawls look to be performing correctly. I assume this because the small bowl (starter clutch maybe?) along with the mesh screen is still turning even when I pull it fast. If I pull the string slowly then it will turn the flywheel and not slip. I'm guessing there is something slipping between the bowl and the actual flywheel. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

I figured it out. The nut holding the flywheel on was loose. I tightened it up and it works again!
