My 21" snapper self propelled won't start when you turn it off when it is hot.

When it's cold it starts on the first pull every time.

I put a new needle and seat in and it did not help at all.

If I wait about an hour until it cools down then it will start.

anyone ever had this problem?

First thing I'd check if you have spark the next time it happens. Sounds like the coil is over heating at shut down and shorting. Once it cools down works fine. Make sure the cooling fins are clean.

ive got a 8hp rer and i can mow for about a hour and it just dies i pulled the plug and there was no spark time for a new magneto or whatever its called ive found them used for around 20 used on ebay and 40 new

I would not go used on this part. Never know where it's been.

some people would buy used just to get it running i myself wouldent buy it used just for the peace of mind
