Mower: Snapper SR-1642
Engine: Briggs & Stratton 303777-1145-E1 (Vanguard V-Twin)
The current (and several past) battery purchased from a local Batteries Plus store is rated at ---> 365 CA at 32 degrees, and 300 CCA at 0 degrees.
I have noticed for the last several years that starting the mower seems to be a struggle the first time it runs (I mow anywhere between once a week and once every other week). That got me thinking about the CCA... should I be upgrading that battery to a higher rated CCA? If so, what is the recommended amperage for such a mower?
Thanks for any responses
