Hello everyone, I own a Honda HRR2168VKA mower and today while I was mowing the Smart Drive stopped working like it usually does and now barely pushes the mower. I checked the belt and noticed it was loose. I would like to know where I could buy a new belt and how I would replace the old one because I have misplaced my paperwork that shows my warranty. If there is any way to find out warranty status by serial number here it is MZCG-8460452. Thanks in advance.

Your mower was wholesaled on 3/7/2012, and has a three year warranty. Best bet is to take it in to a Honda dealer and have it inspected for the source of the drive problem. Be sure to communicate to the to the dealer you and confirm what repairs will or will NOT be covered under warranty before any work is done.

Here's a link to find a dealer in your area; just click off the MOWERS box, and enter your ZIP code:

Will they fix it even though I don't have the paperwork for the warranty?

The dealer can look up the frame serial number on the Honda IN (Honda Interactive Network) and confirm the warranty status. Once the unit is inspected, if it the problem is determined to be a factory defect, it will generally be covered under warranty. If the problem is due to damage or some other non-factory defect, it will not be covered under warranty. Be sure to communicate clearly with the dealer what repairs are or are not covered BEFORE you agree to have them do the job.
