For some reason the mower simply quit responding to the paddles when pushed forward to move...any ideas why?
It's less than 2 years old and purchased from Home Depot.

Belt may have come off.
Cable from the SmartDrive control to the transmission may have (a) broken (b) come loose (c) stretched (d) be out of adjustment
Internal failure of cable inside the SmartDrive control
Failure of the connection of the cable to the transmission

The good news? Mower has a 3-year warranty, and most shops are not too busy right now. Here's a link to find a servicing Honda dealer close to you:
