Good morning,

My 14hp Regent (model 1692354) has been a workhorse for many years. Today, I can't get her to move. Motor starts fine, but nothing forward or reverse. Linkage is connected, belt connected and working fine.

I'm going to pull the trans and change out the fluid to see if I can resurrect it. The parts manual shows this to be a Hydro Gear axle. I'm curious if I could swap it out with a Tuff Torq K46/K51?

Appreciate any feedback. Thanks again!

First, check to make sure that the hydro release lever is pushed in. Second, when was the last time the drive belt was changed? The corrected belt for your unit is part number 1672135SM. If it is more than three years I would start there. A lot cheap to check the simple things first be fore throwing big money at it.
