post 7 digit model number, thanks, Mark
Never put water hose to mower, use leaf blower etc. water will cause corrosion, rust, electrical problems & failures as well as premature bearing, pulleys, & any moving part to fail prematurely. always keep an eye on oil level on dipstick, change oil & filter every 50 to 100 hrs. spark plugs, air filters, lube & grease all moving parts. keep blades in good working order & balanced, belts, idler pulleys, in good shape, check tire pressures often. Always use OEM replacement parts, stay away from cheep non OEM parts. Some folks choose to maintain their equipment themselves others may choose a reputable dealer. I'm just as guilty as anyone on this forum for throwing parts on mower in my younger years, instead of troubleshooting & getting to the root of the problem. Technical Service Manuals are most helpful when troubleshooting, expensive maybe but worth it if you so choose to maintain equipment yourself. This forum offers wisdom, knowledge & know how for those just getting started to the professionally certified technician.
