Is it a 3410s or 3410h? Mines s and I'm putting a diesel in it soon. I'm having carb issues with mine. And its been overhauled a lot.

They are good little tough tractors. The 3410h are hydrastadic. And 3410s are standerd shift. Mines been converted over because it was a hastle to the verable speed drive.

Yes, I have three 3410s with three speed transmissions. I've also have an Allis Chalmer B-10 and Big 10. I have had a 3416H but it was too big and cumbersome. I didn't like the hydrostat either. I prefer the three speeds with 42" decks. I will probably go to my grave using the 3410s since they're my favorite. They have the B&S engine which is very good on gasoline. They are simple to operate, simple to work on, and very heavy duty. Would recommend them to anyone.
