SHAKING LAWN MOWER

I ran over something with my honda self-propel mower. Once I did it began shaking uncontrollably. I can't find anything stuck by the blade and I don't know what to do to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you were to remove the blade and check that part of the crankshaft that protrudes for run out, you'll probably find the crankshaft is bent. Or if you are very lucky only the blade is bent but I wouldn't lay down much cash on that bet.

Oh man that Sucks you have prob bent the crank. Maybe if your lucky its a broken flywheel key. But if it's bent that motor will have to be used for parts.

I just read the title and decided that you have a bent crank.. The good news is that a replacement crank might not be that expensive. And replacing a Honda crank is waay easier than a Briggs crank.

You were correct, the blade was bent. I replaced it this morning. Thanks for your help.

You were very lucky, thanks to some blade manufacturer that had the foresight to manufacturer a thin wimpy blade.:laughing:
