Hello everyone,
I have a John Deere JS35 self propelled mower. Make a long story short: My crankshaft got tweaked, so I replaced it. I've never done anything like that and went into it with the idea that I might fail at it.
I was excited to see that it worked! I was able to mow my lawn after about 4 weeks. However, the mower is now very resistant to going backwards.
I'm not really sure what I might have done wrong. From what I can tell there is just a belt that attaches to a pulley on the crankshaft.
I'm not very mechanical, so I'm not sure what to check or diagnose.
Would appreciate any pointers!
