Greetings. My name is Ozgur and i'm from Turkey. I joined this forum with the hopes of finding some professional help about this task which i'm planning to begin soon. I couldn't find an online community for these kind of things in where i live, and Google brought up this site as a top forum. I know that newcomer posts like this are not welcomed in most places but i hope you'll share some insights with me anyway. In my current situation, i'd appreciate your help greatly.
I'll keep this short and simple..:
I'm planning to build a trail (for off-road riding with a motorcycle). It's an unused fire road that was made several years ago i think. Whole surface is filled with these things at the moment:

Some patches are small, some are bigger and more crowded but in the end; they are everywhere on the trail. I want this road to be as flowy as possible, so that i can reach high speeds on it. That means some serious cleaning (and possible reshaping of some sections afterwards as well).
Trail length is about 2 kms (2000 metres / 6500 feet). Track width will be around 2 metres (6.5 feet) at max.
Compared to:
-chemical solutions (not fast enough. seems to leave roots behind anyway),
-renting a tractor to clean the road (i won't be in control of the tractor. its operator probably won't know anything about trail building. tractor most certainly will destroy the road more than i'd wish for. also it may not climb the hills since some parts of the road surface are very bad at the moment),
-burning the area (simply out of question. i care about wildlife);
the best way to do this seems to be using a gas powered brush cutter. Am i correct on this? What would you say?
If so; judging by the photos which i shared, could you please give me some estimates about:
-how much cc/hp i need for this task
-how long it would take to clean this entire trail in man hours
-how many blades i need for the job (i'll need to cut the plants as low as possible. blade may hit ground and/or some smalls rocks during that)
I've read that STIHL and ECHO are the best of the best when it comes to these tools but STIHL is too expensive for me, and i can't find an ECHO seller around..
Instead, i was thinking about EFCO 8535-ERGO model (52cc, 2.8hp, loop shaped handle, sits on your back. Service availability seems good in where i live, that's why i especially mentioned this brand). Would this unit be overkill for this task? I've read that these higher end models require a lot of gas to work. But i wouldn't want to have problems due to lack of power either. Any advice/suggestions that you can share on this?
Any help is greatly appreciated at this point. I never used such tools before so i don't know much about them. Along with the cutter, i'll get all the necessary safety gear (from top to bottom) as well.
I hope you will help me turn this somewhat 'dream' into a reality in the end. Really looking forward to your messages. Thank you very much.
