Hi Need some advice, I have a Scotts mower 10 years old. It has been a good machine but now
the electricial system has stop working. First the PTO clutch stopped engaging and now the engine
will not start. Battery checks ok, started switch checks ok, soleniod checks ok, PTO switch checks ok clutch assembly checks ok, seat switch ok, clutch switch ok and yes I checked the fuse. I have hot wired around the soleniod and engine will run but blades won't engage. Any suggestions? Dave in Indiana

Hate to say it but you are going to have to start over. To me it sounds like a safety switch problem, I suspest seat switch. When you checked them you must realize that some of the safety switches are normally open and others are normally closed.
