Scag Turf Tiger high hours

Hi guys

I'm new to this forum and have just taken ownership of a Scag turf tiger 2007/8 with Kohler 25hp CH730S engine with high hours (2200hrs).

The engine is down on power and using a lot of oil so I plan to rebuild the engine first and then look at rebuilding the wheel motors / pumps.

Any info would be much appreciated as to were to get spares that ship to Australia. I'm a fitter by trade so pretty used to mechanical work so hopefully most is just common sense.

First off : Welcome to the site, I'm a fairly new member myself, Those Scag Turf Tigers are quite popular in South Florida, anyway , I hope you'll post pics of your repairs. In case your interested in some very reasonably priced parts ( they may have what you need ) check out a place called ( surpluscenter.com) lots of hydraulic components, gearboxs etc. I paid $79.00 for a NEW transmission, that was selling for over $200.00 everywhere else .........
