I have a scag tiger cat 2 and when the blades are engaged spark ar coming from this pulley any advise. I k ly have about 70 hours on tractor. Thanks for your help. I have attached a picture of the sparks location. This is below the engine.

Electric clutch is shorting out. Replace the clutch assy.
Engine loses power and backfires after a few minutes while pro is engaged and mowing grass. Turn off pto and engine runs fine. Old mower but in good shape. Have changed fuel filters and spark plugs. Ideas?

Is someone else hacking this thread. IF so start your own thread as try multiple mower problems will only lead to confusion. Plus post your equipment numbers both the rider and engine.
