Last week I was running the mower when it suddenly shut off. I tried to restart and it wouldnt. I found that the 20 amp fuse had blown. I replaced it and it fired right up.
This week when I ran it, I was mowing for about 2 hours and right towards the end of mowing the mower itself (not the engine) began to disengage or stall. So I disengaged it, re-engaged it and it ran for about 1 minute and began to stall out again. I brought it into my barn and let it sit. When I tried starting it the mower made a "clicking" sound like the battery was dead. I jumped the lawn mower with my car and it started right up. I took it for a drive and the mower started to stall again...some people call the mower the PTO? (I'm new to this kind of mower).
So basically even after jumping the mower it will stall out after approx 5-10 mins...if I jump it, it will run for 5-10 mins before stalling out.
I haven't checked much on it and am no expert, so please let me know in laymans terms what I can check and where I can find it. I'd love to fix this myself or with my buddy who is decently skilled.
Any ideas are welcome! Thanks
