Just closing the loop to let everyone know that the solution to my problem was a bad 'cranking relay'. The relay was located on the bottom side of the control panel just a few inches from the ignition switch. The switch itself was working fine, I could hear the pto and fuel shut off solenoids clicking when I turned the key but the bad relay would not send a start signal to the starter solenoid. Installed a new $20 relay and she fired right up. Thanks for the help and support. Much appreciated.
