scag runs great till I get in wet grass

Hi, I have a scag tiger cub with a 23 hp kawasaki that runs great till I mow some wet grass then it runs poorly and stalls, loss of power then fine, till it wont mow all together. I have changed the coil packs, it has a new carb as of last fall, new air filter, new plugs, and I have checked countless other things. has anyone run into this or a similar situation and could share some insite......thanx

Wet grass puts a "very" heavy load on this machine. If you have the mulch kit installed, it would be next to impossible to mow wet grass.

I dont have the mulching kit, that makes sense to me that the load would be a factor and I have turn off the pto when it happens and still get the same results. It seems to be an engine running problem. I should also ad that it isnt a heavy wet grass, just wet grass in general.
