scag freedom Z won't turn over

My freedom z will not turn over...all it does is make a clicking noise. I replaced the battery and it still does the same thing as before. It was running fine, I stopped to pick up some trash in the yard and when I got back on it would not turn over. Any help would be appreciated....Thanks!!

Take off the small wire on the solenoid and see if you have battery volts on it, if you have battery volts you need to renew the solenoid, but before you do that you can try and clean the solenoid where its fits the frame then try again,
1, Look for battery volts at solenoid
2, if not look for bad ground on solenoid when you turn the key to start you should have battery volts there, no volts, work you way back to ignition switch, then again from there (safety switch(s)
3, If all are OK then renew the solenoid

I would also look for a bad ground wire on the battery or chassis.
