Scag Cheetah

I have a Scag Cheetah 2011. It has a 31HP Kawasaki motor, 61" cut. So far I love it. I mow about 2 1/2 acres in 1 1/2 hours. I use Valvoline 10W30 Dino oil but next year I think I will go synthetic. I did my first oil change & it seemed to run quieter afterwards. One thing the original oil filter was on so tight I destroyed it (twisted) getting it off. I replaced it with a WIX. The old & the new filter looked identical, so they might of both been WIX. If anyone has any comments about the Cheetahs I'd like to here them. Oh yes it rides like a Cadillac.

First off Welcome to the forum there's a lot of good people and info here, I haven't been on in awhile
so I got a lot of catching up to do.

Second I have a Tiger Cub with 48 deck and love it, 7 yrs with no major problems. It broke a idler
pulley tensioner spring for the drive pump belt when new and the dealer gave me a new one, they said
Scag was having a problem with some. Since then no problems. Keep up with the maintenance and you'll
be happy with it.

Third, oh yeah it drives like a Cadillac and fast too!.....cubby
