Salt for weeds

This sounds new to me. Outside of its use on the table, the other use that I know of for salt is to reduce the freezing point of water. It's why it's sprinkled in path ways during winter. We don't have winter here. But perhaps we can add killing weeds among its other uses here I just looked it up. Indeed, excessive amounts of salt is harmful to animals and plants.

White vinegar will kill weeds, the trade off is it will smell for 2 or 3 days. :smile:
