I have a murry that someone thought they knew what they were doing with the wiring.the ignition is gone and im going to take all the wires off and keep what I need to get it to run.its a 2008 17.5 h.p briggs.i have the red from solenoid going to the carb and there is a black coming off the block that goes to the carb.one terminal from solenoid going to starter and the other terminal to + battery and the - on battery is grounded to frame.there is a red and black wires going to a plug which I think is coming from the coil.how should I test this to see how im getting power to the motor,jump the solenoid or neg jumper to batt and pos to starter.its a good mower and I don't have the money for a shop to look at it.someone please help
