Safety switch issue LT46

I have a new LT46...issue is this: I ran over a small log, stupidly tried to engage the blades, briefly. The log was hung up under the mower, would not move fwd/rev. Shut it off, never ran again. Removed any debris, still no go. When the key is turned, hour meter runs, nothing else---no clicks, nothing. What's up?
