Hi,
I just purchased a used (but still under warranty, 55 hrs) RZT-S 54 (2013). I gave it a trial run when I brought it home and a day later discovered that I have a bunch of burn spots on the lawn. Some are sickle shaped in the middle of the lawn and some are semicircular where I did my turn around. It seems that these may be attributed to the exhaust design. Any ideas how I can overcome this hurdle?
Thank you for any info!

I had the same problem when I had an RZT-S42. Cub Cadet offers a heat shield for the exhaust that is easy to install. I no longer own the mower or have the part#, but you can contact Cub Cadet directly or a dealer and they can help you out. By the way, if it is still under warranty it should be at no cost to you!!
