My 2 year old Ryobi SS26 trimmer won't turnover at all... even after pouring a little gas into the spark plug hole. I've done the following so far:
-New spark plug
-New fuel lines and filter
-New carb
-Fresh gas
The spark plug has a strong spark. I took the trimmer into a small engine repair shop and they couldn't fix it saying that the problem was "internal" and it wasn't worth it.
Does anyone have any suggestions as far as what the problem could be? I am at a loss at this point.
Internal means that either the cylinder is scored, or the rings are stuck leading to low compression. If either is true then from a repair shop standpoint is it not cost effective.
