I'd start by just lookin at the throttle cable and linkage to be sure everything is moving properly. And just make sure nothing had fallen off. Then look at your fuel lines and filter. And then remove the float bowl from the carb and clean that and spray carb cleaner inside. If that doesn't help you'll need to remove the whole carb and clean it.
It sounds like it's a fuel issue so that where to start.

How old is it? Is it QR cassette type which takes a scarifier or older?
If it is what engine is fitted either tecumseh or kawasaki.
If its not and its the older type without the scarifier cassette then more likley the y pack coil has failed.
The throttle cable seems fine, the filter and fuel line seem clear, I gave the carb a quick clean which made it slightly better - but still bad! see below.
I'm struggling to find how to detach the float bowl.
