I have a mower with a 128M02 0115-F1 engine with run problems.
The engine only has about 10 hours of use and runs great when it runs.
The engine is an easy start model.
How long (run time) should it take for the thermostat to open the choke?
Symptoms are-
Starts on first pull but dies unless I hold the choke partially closed until it's completely warmed up.
It will run great for 10-15 minutes then dies and won't restart.
Here's a list of what I've done so far-
Replaced the spark plug and set the correct gap
Cleaned out the fuel system, including the carb and made sure the fuel is fresh
Replaced the air filter

Holding choke would suggest fuel to air ratio is out...and in this case not enough fuel me thinks....i would check your carb again...check float and needle...no gas in float etc...check valve/bolt that holds carb bowel in position...notice small holes and clean.. :2cents:
I cleaned the carb again making sure to clean all of the orifices thoroughly using a bread-tie wire. It started on the first pull and ran perfectly for over half an hour, hopefully that fixed it.
