I lost almost 2 weeks of mowing... due to an engine that would not run,
( Cub Cadet 3000 series )and I could not figure
it out.... long story short... I was starting to think I had electrical/ fuel problems combined... and
started to think ignition, and fuel shut off solenoid were at fault.
I thought this because I had cleaned carb 3 times , but still would not run.
Today, for the 4th time ... I cleaned every nook and cranny of carb, and BINGO .... it runs better
than ever !
Moral.... be sure you get EVER jet and port in carb when cleaning it.
