A neighbor gave me a cutting of a plant they can't identify but smells great. She said that if I put it in water with a "rooting hormone" it would root and then I could plant it. She had no idea what it was called. I don't think she meant the word hormone. Does anyone know what I need to add to the water to make it root?
It is a rooting hormone, they sell it in garden supply stores. It stimulates the roots to grow, hence it being called rooting hormone. http://rubyglen.com/houseplants/rooting_hormone.htm
