I am repairing my Yardman 5518R and wish to replace the rear rollers.
How do I remove the roller next to the chain drive housing.
Everything is off the machine but I can't see how to remove either the drive sprocket in the centre of the two rollers or the large chain sprocket in the chain housing.
Without one of these out of the way, the roller can't be removed.
Thanks:confused2:

What part are you trying to remove? I do not know what a roller is.
The rollers are item nos. 20(large) x2 and 21(small) x1 in the attached exploded view.

From the look of things you have to remove one side completely then remove all nuts and e clips to release the other side then remove rollers from center out. Sprockets stay on and each roller pulls to left or right of sprocket. Does not look like fun. Take lots of pictures during disassembly.
