Was doing spring maintenance on my Rogue yesterday and noticed something... Probably the first time I realized that 1) the footrest is adjustable; and 2) the floorboard lifts up. While moving the footrest from 2nd furthest to furthest position I noticed that the floorboard won't stay up by itself in either of those positions because the footrest hits the front of the frame. I have really no need to open the floorboard I guess, because I didn't even know it lifted for the first two seasons, but I'm curious if anyone has a whiz-bang idea for propping it open when the footrest is in those positions?

By the way, I'm very glad that I realized I could move the footrest. It was always just a little too close for my legroom. I was always wishing I could push the seat back just a couple more inches. These units really are well designed for flexible adjustment and ease of maintenance.
