My Craftsman t1000 mower trans slips and I have tried almost everything to fix it except replacing the trans. I've replaced the belts. I have separated the pump from the transaxle and dissembled the transaxle in order to install the "kit" made for this very problem. It seemed to have an effect as I could not get it to slip on my fairly steep driveway but after half an acre of my sloped lawn it started slipping again and even completely disconnected once and I went flying backward downhill. Didn't get hurt but needless to say I won't use that mower again until it is fixed or not at all. Is this thing worth what it needs, if anyone knows what it is? Sears sort of don't want work on riders around here so I can't get a diagnosis from them. If it is fixed will it simply break again from the strain of uphill mowing?
P.S. It never slips in reverse or on level ground.

We need the "real" model number of the mower. Also, need the numbers off the rear end.
