Repowering

I've got an 18 single Intek that's blown (locked up) and I want to repower with something else. What's a good option ?

I think the Intek had been breathing dust since before I got it and although I tried to seal it up tight, it had seen better days & finally give up the ghost. Is there a cast iron bore, or twin cylinder that will replace these engines ?

Briggs Vanguard, Kohler Command, or Courage should all fit easily, but will require a new exhaust for everything except possibly the Vanguard.

The Intek is a cast iron bore engine.

Of the ones LIEngine has listed, I would replace it with the Kohler Command or the Intek.
