Model no is 944.602820. (Canada model)I broke off the deck lift lever a couple of months ago and ordered a new one. I took the old one off awhile back and now that the replacement one is here I’m having trouble seeing how this goes back together...in particular how the little spring goes on. I seem to recall that it threads onto the lever and bends around the elbow. I should have taken a picture of the set up before removing the broken lever. I would be grateful for any instructions...especially is someone could post a picture of the assembly.

Note the positioning. The long hook end just spring loads to the semi vertical section of item 3. Short hook clips into the notch of the bracket.
Thanks for this prompt reply...I actually have this diagram but could not figure out the hooks as you have described. I will give it a go later today and let you know...thanks again
