Repairs Replace Front Wheel Bushings with Bearings

Want to make a big improvement on your John Deere L-Series riding lawn mower? Replace the front wheel bushings with bearings. These tractors originally come with bushings on the front wheels that will wear out and then damage the spindle/axle. For about $35 you can purchase bearings to replace the bushings. John Deere bearing AM118315. One note on installing the bearings: when driving them into the wheel don't strike them too hard, it will break the bearing flange.
