Repairing PTO clutch (wheelhorse xl380h)

Hello Toro community,

I have had white smoke 100% coming from the clutch and the blades struggle to turn on grass even though spindles have been replaced with new sharpened blades. Clutch taken apart, not sure if the problem is one of the bearings or the friction disc. When turning the clutch is it supposed to make a grinding sound like that or spin freely? Here's the video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15w-UwG9yW5999yllJfMh8rQY9ZBOfMLs/view?usp=drivesdk

It's a warner clutch and I have attached pictures as well of the clutch components

I greatly appreciate any help.

These PTO clutches are not repairable due lack of replacement parts. Year ago they did provide us with parts but sadly they no long do.

It appears your replace clutch is a Warner 5219-58 which Warner no longer knowledges. The Toro 108-9510 is ridiculously expensive. But there are several after markets that are available and reasonably priced.

One is the Xtreme #: X0369 Also as a Stens X0369. The Xtreme lists for $281.44 but can be found at a lower cost online.

Interchange: 5219-58,108-9510, X0369

Ox Clutch also has one available but they don't provide a PN for me to reference.

Buy the xtreme best clutch going. Been using them for ten years of so and have never replaced one yet.
