Repairing Plastic Grill on MTD
Repaired the broken plastic grill on my MTD 12/38 using a soldering iron and FOR (found on road) plastic. Used FOR plastic, which was approximately the same thickness as the grill, to make a patch to replace the plastic that was missing from the grill as well as shaving some strips from it to use as filler.
Yea; it’s not pretty but it is functional and cost next to nothing.
