repainting deck

I'm repainting my deck on 05 Scag wildcat. Ive put on primer and sanded down. I will paint with Scag cat eye gold, which is expensive from the dealer. My question is can I put a clear coat sealer on top. Several of the cans I looked at said do not put them on top of air dried enamel paint, but not sure what the Scag paint is. Any one have experience with this or is it even worth doing.

Went to Tractor Supply and found Majic paint "Kubota Orange" for $5.00 a can instead of $25 a can from my Scag dealer. The Kubota orange is little darker but it will work. Majic also has a clear coat that you can put on after 7 days when the paint is cured. Not sure if I'll use it or not.
