I am having difficulty removing the lock nut at the top of the spindle/mandrel. The blade bolt is stripped and will not tighten. Any suggestions on how to remove the lock nut would be greatly appreciated. I'm new at the do it yourself thing so I know there is something I'm missing. Thanks in advance!

Impact wrench is the easiest, but without one, you are going to have to find a way to keep the shaft from turning, and put a socket on the nut, and pull like heck, may also require a cheater pipe on wrench.
