Removing self Propelled rear drive wheel

Having problems with what should be the simplest. Its just I don’t want to damage anything using excessive force. When I put a socket on the hex bolt, the whole drive moves and I am not sure where to grab to keep the axel from turning. It is a 2013 12A989Q710 model
