Removing Crankshaft with weird attachment help

Hello! My first post here!

I am currently in the process of restoring a push mower engine, a Briggs one, part number 100802 0124 B8

I have removed the flywheel, and the sump has come loose and comes down a little bit, but wont come down anymore. After watching a video, it said you have to pull the sump off the crankshaft before being able to go any further, but my one has this weird blade holder. Is my method to get the sump off correct? And is this blade holder something that others have seen before, or will I have to cut it off?

Thanks

do you have an air hammer? Or a torch?
That blade adapter is just keyed on, it's rusted to the shaft.

I can't see your video but, everything has to be removed from the output shaft of the crankshaft for the sump to slide off the crankshaft....blade adapter, pulleys, or anything else.

Yeah, ill need to be buying the tools to do that, but the blade adaptor currently on there won't be going back on, so could I cut the thing off, or is there a better method to get something like that off?

If you cut it off, you may also be buying a new crankshaft.

Ah, yeah, okay, that's a problem. So how am I able to remove the attachment?

Quick update, after I figured out it was a blade adaptor and not part of the actual crankshaft(which is what I originally thought, and why I wanted to cut it off) I found a tutorial on Youtube where they used a 2 jaw gear puller and a nut, which worked a charm. Thanks for all your help, otherwise I wouldn't have figured it out
