I have a 6.5Hp chinese built engine on a chipper/ mul;cher. I am looking to replace the engine but need to remove the clutch (I think that is what it is called) from the horizontal shaft.
This clutch has a cover over it that allows the V belt to run around it. I can remove the belt and round 'wheel' that the belt runs in but now left with a device that is round with 3 plates held in by springs that seems to slide over the shaft. I also know there is a 'key' in the inner art of this shaft as well. How do I remove this clutch device?
