Purchased new a few months ago. 52” Vanguard.
Both transmission oil tanks a bit low. Spoke with the parts/service guy at the dealer where I purchased it, and he didn’t know for sure what to use. .
Called another and they recommended Shaeffer synthetic 20-50, another says conventional, non-synthetic 20-50.
After looking in the manual AND on the mower, 20-50 is the answer ref weight. Would like to put the same as recommended by manufacturer, conventional vs synthetic. Suggestions on brand? I will try to locate a service manual. Thanks for the assist. Great mower.
