Can you recommend trimer or trimer/edger combo? Gas or electric (cord or cordless).I have a buget of about $150.00. I don't have a big yard maybe 85'x150'
You can get a gas powered trimmer for between $150 and $200 with the edger attachment. But it will be average homeowner type. They are all pretty much the same in that price range. Lowes, Home Depot, Menards, Hardware store type places carry them under brands like Poulan, Troybilt, Ryobi, Craftsman at Sears etc. I just use a string trimmer to edge myself. Once you get the groove cut it is easy to keep it up with a trimer. Some guys just rent an edger to get started and then maintain with a string trimmer.

I had string trimmer before and that's I used to do the edging. Unfortunately, I don't have steady hands so it came out like a bad hair cut. Renting an edger just to get sarted is a good idea.
